Race Equality and Cultural Capability Materials
We wrote the Race Equality and Cultural Capability materials designed for all mental health practitioners. These materials are being rolled out nationally to mental health practitioners in England as part of the Governments national strategy to improve mental health services for BME communities. The materials represent a ‘whole systems’ approach to service development through a training intervention and are part of a package of tools to achieve inclusive mental health services that are appropriate and accessible to BME people (please see RECC section on this website for further information).
We have also developed a Train the Trainers Course to ensure that the materials are delivered effectively.
Next RECC Training for Trainers Programme runs on 14th, 15th, 16th May, 28th & 29th May and 9th July 20012 at The Bridge, Falcon Mews, Oakmead Rd, London SW12 9SJ . Sign up now to secure your place.
